A petición de los usuarios del chat de Rascafría, una imagen de la hembra intermedia. La iluminación en los nidos, además de la óptica, no nos permite a veces determinar bien los tonos de los colores. Lo ideal es ver los plumajes en vuelo, con buena luz... Ya sabéis los que hacéis video, fotografía... que las condiciones de iluminación son muy limitadas, a veces unas pocas horas al día. En vuelo, cuando un buen cielo de fondo, se ven de lujo las diferencias entre intermedias y oscuras.

I am from America and I enjoy watching and learning about the Booted Eagles. Am I right in understanding that to tell a dark morphed Booted Eagle from and "Intermediate" is the coloring under the winds whether it's light or dark? The female Booted Eagles is darker over all compared to the male but to deiced if it is a dark or "intermediate" female or male ..one must look at the underside of the wings? I understand that the cams do not give you the best lighting as would seeing each in flight. I'm an amateur Photographer. I take photos of Bald Eagles here in the US...
